CALSARA is run by a Board of Directors, consisting of four executive officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary), which is elected by the membership for a two-year term, and six coordinators, voted in for a one-year term. Each coordinator heads a committee, focusing on a different administrative area. President
The role of President is to ensure that the Calgary Search and Rescue Association (CALSARA) operates efficiently on a day to day basis. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of CALSARA's activities and chairing board meetings. The President also liaises with federal, provincial and municipal authorities on behalf of CALSARA. The President can be reached at (403) 717-6210.

Vice President
The Vice President's role is to oversee the management of CALSARA in conjunction with the President and to chair meetings in the event of his/her absence. The Vice President works with the President in all areas of the President's responsibilities and is prepared to assume the President's role in the event of his/her absence. In addition, the Vice President also provides leadership and direction regarding the CALSARA strategies and communicates with CALSARA clients and other SAR groups. Treasurer
The Treasurer for Calgary Search and Rescue Association is responsible for the day to day financial activities of our organization. These activities include bank deposits, investment planning, invoice payment, receiving cheque requisitions, writing cheque's, etc. Our Treasurer can be reached at (403) 717-6203.

Secretary
The role of Secretary to the Calgary Search and Rescue Association Board of Directors is to oversee the non-financial record keeping and reporting obligations of the organization. Responsibilities include attending board meetings and recording minutes, assigning an alternate in his/her absence, preparing and posting the minutes of the meetings in the office, assuming care and control of the CALSARA Corporate seal and books and filing an annual return to the Corporate Registry.
